Veermata Jijabai Technological Institute (VJTI) Admission
Admission to the undergraduate degree courses offered by VJTI is carried out by the Directorate of Technical Education (DTE). The allotment process to autonomous institutions like VJTI is known as Centralized Admission Process to Autonomous Institutes (CAPAI). Admission will be based on the marks scored in the Maharashtra Health Science and Technical - Common Entrance Test (MHT-CET). Only those candidates who have secured a minimum of 45% marks at the 10+2 level are eligible to apply.
VJTI offers a number of Master of Technology courses. Candidates can opt for the Sponsored category of GATE. Admission for sponsored candidates will be based on the entrance examination conducted by VJTI. The written test carries a maximum of 70 marks. The written examination is followed by an Interview which carries 30 marks. Marks scored in the qualifying examination will also be taken into consideration. Candidates seeking admission in the GATE category are required to have a valid GATE score. They can also seek admission in the sponsored and other non sponsored category. The direct seats will be filled first based on the GATE score. Candidates who have passed B.Tech in relevant disciplines with 50% marks from a recognized university are eligible to apply.
Admission to the undergraduate diploma courses will be based on the marks secured in the qualifying examination. Candidates who have passed class 10 or an equivalent from a recognized board are eligible to apply. Admission to the Master of Computer Application Programme will be based on the Master of Computer Application – Common Entrance Test (MCA-CET).
